Cricut Cardz Challenge #59

For this challenge Mary had us make a Valentine's card for a child.  I used kraft paper from Paper Trey Inc. for the base and Martha Stewart Holidays paper for the mat.  I cut the bear out using Create a Critter cartridge at 3.25".  I cut the heart out from a differnt cartridge but I can't remember which one! The sentiment is from Anna Griffin stamps and the mat for that is punched out using an EK Success punch.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  Thanks for taking a look.

My Pink Stamper Birthday Challenge

It is Robyn's birthday today so she decided to have a birthday challenge!  I made this birthday card using the Forever Young cartridge.  The paper is from DCWV and the ribbon is from Michaels.  Of course I had to use Stickles to bling it up a bit.  The stamp is from My Pink Stamper Family & Friends stamp set and I embossed the background paper using a Cuttlebug embossing template.

Robyn, I hope you had a wonderful birthday!!  Happy 38th!

Cardz TV Cupcake Challenge

Mary at Cardz TV is having a Cupcake Challenge.  For this challenge we have to make any project with a cupcake on it.  I used kraft paper for my card and cut out my cupcake from the Sweet Treats cartridge (3").  The paper is from The Sweet Stack from DCWV.  I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the orange paper.  I added some Stickles to the heart on my cupcake and I used a white gel pen to do the outline stitching.

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday - Every Day Paper Dolls/Embossing challenge

For Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge to cut out my image.  My background paper is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing template and the stamp is from MPS Family & Friends stamp set.  I inked the edges of the card (A2 size) with brown ink.  Thanks for taking a look.

Adding New Life to my Old Cricut!

I have been admiring the Cricuts that Walmart is selling since they came out on Black Friday.  I love the colors and the flourish designs on them.  Since I could not afford to buy another Cricut right now, I decided to decorate the one I have.  I used the Elegant Cakes cartridge and cut out this design on pink vinyl.  I love the way it looks and it only cost me a couple of dollars to make!  Now my old plain Cricut has some new life and color to it!

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday "Viewers Choice" Challenge

For this card I used the Potpourri Basket cartridge to cut out the champagne glasses and the heart.  It's hard to see in the picture but for the champagne glasses I used DCWV Christmas & Winter combo glitter matstack.  The heart edge punch is Martha Stewart.  The background paper is from My Mind's Eye.  The stamp and ribbon are from Michaels.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

My Pink Stamper 2011 Design Team challenge

Robyn at My Pink Stamper has two more openings on her 2011 Design Team.  I decided to submit my card for consideration.  The challenge requirements stated that we must use our favorite Cricut cartridge and have pink, brown, green (and another optional color of our choice) on the project.  For my card I used Create a Critter (my favorite!!) to cut out a butterfly at 3 inches.  My background paper is from Close to my Heart, the green part of the butterfly was cut out with DCWV glitter paper to give it some shine.  I used rhinestones from Studio 18 for the eyes and the buttons are Button Ups from Sticko.  The word cute! was stamped using Close to my Heart Chocolate Ink and the stamp is from My Pink Stamper Family & Friends stamp set.  Hope you enjoy my card, thanks for stopping by.
